Delete your Reax account

You can permanently delete your Reax account and its personal data at any time — directly in the app, or by sending us a request if you can no longer use the app.

Delete it in the app

Open your Profile, then Settings.

Choose Delete Account, then confirm with Delete Account. Cancel keeps everything as it is.

If you signed in with Apple, you may be asked to confirm with Apple so that Reax’s access to your Apple ID is also removed. If that step cannot finish, your Reax account is still deleted and the app shows how to remove Reax in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple).

Can’t open the app? Request deletion

Email support@reaxbooks.com from the email address linked to your Reax account, with the subject “Delete my Reax account”. Include your Reax username if you know it.

To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before deleting it. We will reply to confirm once the deletion is complete. Never send us your password or verification codes.

What is deleted

• Your profile, username, display name, bio and profile photo

• Your library: shelves, reading progress, favourites and reading history

• Your ratings, reviews, replies, quote posts, likes and saved items

• Your follows, followers, follow requests, blocks and notifications

• Your sign-in credentials, so the account can no longer be used

What stays

• Shared catalogue entries (book records other readers use) stay in the catalogue; your account is simply no longer linked to them.

• A book cover image you submitted to the shared catalogue may remain, because other readers may still see it for that book.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Signing in again later creates a brand-new, empty account. More detail is in our Privacy Policy, and you can reach us any time through Support.
